Built in 1983, the lodge sleeps 24 in 6 bunkrooms. Every 2 bunkrooms share an en suite. It is just 20 minutes from Turoa ski field and with interesting bush walks and other activities in the vicinity, it is great in winter, as well as for summer recreation. The nearby township provides a cinema, spa pools, tennis courts and shops.
The Ohakune lodge is 200 meters from the hub of all the evening dining and action taking place in Ohakune: King’s, Powderkeg, Turoa Ski lodge, The Kitchen and others. You will find the atmosphere friendly, with plenty of chit chat happening about everyone’s exciting day at Turoa, while you absorb the warmth from the fire. Some choose to relax around the pool table or have a hot dip in our spa pool.
