Tukino Lodge – Aorangi

Welcome to the wild side of Mt Ruapehu, an adventure for everyone, this lodge is situated off the desert road. The lodge has 32 bunks in 6 rooms with adjoining ensuites, and is situated in the Tukino village.

Tukino has one of the safest, uncrowded beginners slopes in the southern hemisphere, as well as some challenging territory for the more adventurous, including natural half pipes, cornices and chutes. Ski all day with no queues, or just pop over the crater from Turoa or Whakapapa, and enjoy the unique apre’s ski at night there’s always a party going on at Tukino.
